Mayapuri Group of publications began more than 100 years ago, in 1882, in Lahore, the capital of undivided Punjab by the name ofArorbans Press. The group later shifted its head office to Delhi after partition, the torchbearer of this group, Shri Anand Prakash Bajaj, tookthe group to new heights by making innovations in the field of media by expanding his printing facilities and launching first children’s magazine Lotpot. In 1964 his son Mr. Pramod Bajaj joined the business.

Mayapuri was founded in 1974 by Shri A.P.Bajaj and is a household name in India. It is synonymous with Bollywood entertainment news& gossips in the Hindi speaking heartland ruling and entertaining the masses for the last 5 decades.

Today, Mayapuri is a cultural phenomenon, boasting of more than 3000 issues in Hindi languages has sold over 100 million copiesto date. With more than 1.5 million copies sold every year, Mayapuri is the undisputed leader in the Bollywood entertainmentpublishing segment in India.

Today, Lotpot is a comic and cultural phenomenon, boasting of more than 3000 issues in Hindi & Enlgish languages has sold over100 million copies to date. With more than 1.5 million copies sold every year, Lotpot & its characters Motu Patlu are undisputed leaders& the no.1 Kids show on Nickelodeon in India.

Besides Motu Patlu, Sheikh Chilli & Friends launched in 2017 on Discovery Kids too has a great fan following. We also have a collectionof comic characters covered in Lotpot Comics of which Natkhat is a favourite among our young fans.

Today under the guidance of Mr. Aman Bajaj grandson and CEO of Mayapuri, the group has expanded their base beyond the realms ofprint, with a robust library of digital content over the years, including multiple TV shows, mobile apps, and movies.
